5.20.1 ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATIONS AND SURVEYS

The DEIS was completed coincident with the MIS. The MIS included conceptual engineering based on limited topographic information. Several detailed environmental and cultural field surveys were deferred to the preliminary engineering/FEIS project stage with the concurrence of the agencies participating in the Agency Coordinating Meeting group. Table 5.20.1 lists the environmental and cultural field and analytical work that will be completed as part of preliminary engineering/FEIS.
