Purchase of displacement dwelling at fair market value

Assistance in identifying a comparable replacement dwelling

Purchases and occupies dwelling within 1 year

Reimbursement of actual moving costs or a fixed moving allowance

Potential purchase supplement of up to $22,500 to cover:

- Difference between cost of replacement dwelling and acquisition cost of displacement dwelling

- Increased interest costs

- Reasonable incidental expenses such as title search, recording fees and other closing costs

- OR -

- Rental assistance payment of up to $5,250

Owner Occupants of 90 to 179 days and Tenants of 90 days or more

Assistance in identifying a comparable replacement dwelling

Purchase or rent replacement dwelling within 1 year

Reimbursement of actual moving costs or a fixed moving allowance

Potential rental assistance payment - difference between average monthly cost for rent and utilities at displacement dwelling and monthly rent and utilities at comparable replacement dwelling; not to exceed $5,250

Down payment allowance of up to $5,250

Businesses, Farms

and Nonprofit Organizations

Reimbursement of:

- Actual moving costs

- Personal property losses

- Searching expenses to locate a new property, up to $1,000

- Re-establishment expenses up to $10,000

(for businesses with 500 or more employees)

- OR -

Fixed allowance of $1,000-$20,000 in lieu of the above. This payment is calculated based on the average annual net earnings of the operation for the two previous tax years.
