Ardmore is also a station stop for Amtrak Keystone Service trains. The current station building is a 1950s-era one-story brick building with a flat roof. It replaced an older building that burned down. There are plans to build a new transit-oriented development in the area, and this would include a new station building.

Parking: Permit parking. There is a daily parking lot between Suburban Square and the north side of the tracks, $1 per day.

Strafford Station was restored in the period from 1999 to 2002, with work done on the station building and shelters, and the installation of platforms, ramps, lighting, and signage. The station building was originally part of the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Fairmount Park. The waiting room includes a coffee shop.
